Bottle septa provide an airtight seal for bottles, to protect bottle contents from environmental contaminants while allowing content removal or addition via piercing with sharp needles. Generally available for open-top and screw caps, bottle septa allow for aseptic syringe dispensing, as well as the addition of materials.
