Sodium iodide commonly is used to prevent iodine deficiency. Used as analytical reagents, in the manufacture of disinfectants, antiseptics, deodorants and medicines. They are used in baking ingredient conditioner and as animal feed.

Aluminum acetate, basic hydrate is used in medicine as an astringent and an antiseptic. It is also used as a mordant in dyeing, waterproofing and fireproofing agent. Further, it acts as a disinfectant in embalming and a dusting powder. In addition to this, it is used in antiperspirants.

Copper(II) sulfate, pentahydrate can be added with potassium permanganate to give an oxidant for the conversion of primary alcohols. It is used to etch zinc or copper plates for intaglio printmaking and as a mordant in vegetable dyeing.

Indium(III) nitrate hydrate acts as an oxidizing agent. It is used in the manufacture of coordinated polymer films which are used in the preparation of indium(III) oxide nanoparticles. It is used in the synthesis of other indium complexes.

Calcium carbonate is a dietary supplement used when the quantity of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Used as an antacid to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion and upset belly. Practiced in the expression industry. Also widely used as a filler in plastics and is used in metallurgy of iron.
