Thiosalicylic acid is an organosulfur compound and sulfanylbenzoic acid with the molecular formula C6H4(SH)(CO2H). It plays a role as a non-narcotic analgesic and an antipyretic and has been used as a precursor to atherosclerosis and melanoma drugs.
