Sulfurous Acid
Sulfurous acid is a corrosive sulfur oxoacid and a tautomer of sulfonic acid. As pure, anhydrous sulfurous acid cannot be isolated, aqueous solutions of sulfur dioxide are often referred to as sulfurous acid and are used as reducing agents and disinfectants.
